Where learning scientists and game makers share a desk.
Eduventure exists because the best educational games are rare – and they’re rare because they need two crafts that usually live in different buildings. We put a learning designer and a game designer at the same table, on day one, and don’t let them leave until both jobs are done.

Engagement isn’t the enemy of rigor. It’s the delivery system.
A worksheet a kid avoids teaches nothing. A game a kid replays at recess teaches every time they hit play. We don’t bolt “fun” onto a lesson at the end – we design the core action so that playing well and learning well are the same move.
That takes real game craft and real learning science, held in tension, by people who respect both. It also takes shipping: a beautiful design that never runs on a classroom Chromebook helped no one.
From learning goal to launch, in five levels.
Visible milestones, real learners in the loop early, and no black boxes.
Discovery
We dig into your learners, goals, standards and constraints – and define what “it worked” actually means before we design a thing.
Game design
We design the core loop where the fun and the learning are the same action – plus levels, progression, art direction and assessment.
Prototype
A small playable build, fast. We put it in front of real learners early, because kids are the only honest critics.
Production
Art, audio, engineering and content come together into a polished, accessible, tested build – with you in the loop the whole way.
Launch & support
We ship it where your learners are – web, app stores, LMS, kiosk – and stick around for updates, analytics and the next level.
A small senior crew, built to ship.
Game designers, learning scientists, artists, composers and engineers – hands-on and genuinely excited about your topic.
Holds the studio to one bar: learning and delight, never a trade-off. Keeps every decision pointed at the player.
The learning scientist who turns a standards document into a core game loop – the reason an Eduventure game actually teaches.
Builds it to run smoothly on a six-year-old classroom Chromebook and a brand-new iPad alike. Allergic to jank.
Makes worlds kids want to live in – characters with heart, UI a first-grader can navigate, and a style all your own.
Illustrative roles – the seats we staff your project with. We’ll introduce the real people on your project at kickoff.
The FAQ.
Cost, timelines, standards, platforms, IP and funding. Still wondering? Ask below.
It depends on scope, but as rough bands: a focused playable prototype often runs $15k–$40k; a polished single-subject game $75k–$200k+; a larger platform or multi-game series more. We’ll give you an honest, itemized range after a short discovery call – and we’re happy to design to a fixed budget or a grant amount.
A prototype is typically 4–8 weeks. A full custom game is usually 4–9 months depending on scope, platforms and content volume. We work in visible milestones so you always know where things stand.
Yes. A learning designer maps your objectives to the relevant standards up front, and we keep an alignment trace through design and content so you can show coverage to teachers, leadership and funders.
Web (including low-end Chromebooks), iOS, Android, LMS/SCORM, museum kiosks, and more. We pick the platform around your learners and the devices they actually have – not the other way around.
Yes – we’re a full studio. Game design, learning design, art, animation, original music, voice, engineering, QA and accessibility under one roof. You can also bring us in for just one piece.
Often, yes. A playable prototype and a clear learning-outcome story make a grant proposal far stronger, and we can supply the scopes, budgets and artifacts reviewers look for. We love a mission with funding behind it.
You do. On final payment, the custom game and its source are yours – no surprise licensing. (Some third-party tools, fonts, engines or libraries stay under their own licenses, which we always disclose up front.)
We design toward WCAG 2.1 AA and build with student privacy front of mind (FERPA/COPPA-aware), collecting as little data as the goals allow. We scope the exact compliance posture with you per project rather than making blanket guarantees.
